About Us

Having previously enjoyed a lengthy and successful career in financial services, I embarked on a new path in 2022, starting EV Travel at the ripe old age of 55!

I’m really happy to have the possibility to share this experience with you as a customer.

Whether you want to travel in silence, chat with your fellow passengers, or engage in discussion with me as your driver, I am only too pleased to have the opportunity to serve you.

Let me share a bit about me.

I was born in 1966, the middle son of three.  My dad was in the Army, so we travelled quite a bit.  I lived and went to school in Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Cyprus and, of course, England.

I’ve lived in Andover all my adult life, although my financial services career was largely spent working elsewhere; either commuting up to London or travelling around the UK visiting other businesses.

For many years I was an active member of Round Table, a club for men aged 18-45 that provides fellowship and helps members to make a difference in their local communities.  I am now a member of Andover 41 Club.

In October 2011 I was privileged to be invited to the Pride of Andover Awards and to be presented with the Outstanding Volunteer Award by the host, Esther Rantzen.  I received this honour based upon 20 years of service in the Andover community, predominantly through my membership of Andover Round Table.

With the establishment of EV Travel, I am truly excited about the future and I hope to have you as a passenger in my car sometime soon.
